Marsha Barnhart has been a member of the Aerial-Phenomenon Investigations Team since its formation in late 2011, and became its Chief of Investigations in 2013. In this capacity she manages the administration of case files, the assignment of cases, and much of the organization’s correspondence. Marsha’s background is in broadcast journalism and radio/television production. She spent 16 years working at a non-profit broadcast institution in Washington DC. There she became the main trainer for radio and television production and presentation techniques, in addition to performing on-air duties as an audio engineer, Web TV producer, and field videographer. Prior to her work in DC, Marsha lived overseas for 20 years—, 14 of those years as an active duty Air Force broadcast journalist stationed in Turkey, Japan, Iceland and Germany. While living in Germany, she ended her active duty enlistment and became a civilian contractor to the Department of the Army for 8 years working as a broadcast producer in Frankfurt, Germany. She has traveled widely—having touched the soil of 26 different countries. Marsha lives now in northern Michigan.
