NOTE: At this time, we are not certain about whether this is a hoax or not.
While UFO news involving the GOVERNMENT has drowned out civilian UFO reports, a case out of Las Vegas, Nevada, managed to get through that’s got some credibility in the form of a police call log obtained by KLAS 8 News Now investigators.
According to the article by David Charms posted June 7, 2023, headlined “Las Vegas Family Claims to See Aliens After Several Report Something Falling From Sky,” the Las Vegas family who called 911 with their claim weren’t the only ones to see the UFO. On April 30, 2023, at around 11:50 p.m., a Las Vegas police officer’s body cam caught something streaking low through the sky, and there was a report from the American Meteor Society that “several people” in eastern California, Utah, and Nevada reported seeing a flash.
The call to 911 came in about 40 minutes later from a man saying that something had crashed in his backyard and that there were two 8 to 10 foot beings moving around. A transcript of a portion of the call was included in the article:
Caller: There’s like an 8-foot person beside it and another one is inside us [sic] and it has big eyes and it’s looking at us — and it’s still there,” the caller told a dispatcher.
Dispatcher: OK, where is this on your property?
Caller: In my backyard. I swear to God this is not a joke, this is actually — we’re terrified.
Dispatcher: So, there’s two people, there’s two subjects in your backyard?
Caller: Correct and they’re very large. They’re like 8 foot, 9 feet, 10 foot. They look like aliens to us. Big eyes. They have big eyes. Like, I can’t explain it, and big mouth. They’re shiny eyes and they’re human. They’re 100% not human.
Dispatcher: OK.
According to Charms, the log shows that other family members confirmed the sighting.
Two officers were sent and arrived about a half-hour after the 911 call. KLAS investigators obtained the body cam footage of both officers and this is some of what was recorded:
Officer: I have butterflies bro — saw a shooting star and now these people say there’s aliens in their backyard.
Officer: What did you see?
Witness: It was like a big creature.
Officer: A big creature?
Officer: Yea, more than 10 feet tall.
What adds to this story is the fact that strange lights were reported over a Las Vegas valley just three nights before. In another KLAS story, written by Gary Dymski posted April 28, 2023, headlined “Viewer Shares Video of ‘Mysterious Lights’ Hovering in Night Sky Over Las Vegas Valley,” Dymski reported that an 8 News Now viewer, identified only as “Bill,” had provided KLAS with video footage of strange lights he captured on April 27, 2023, from his backyard in the southeast valley of Las Vegas. He said he thought the lights were over the strip.
Nellis Air Force Base and Creech Air Force base are both nearby, and the Air Force was asked if military activity such as aviation training or parachute flares could explain the lights. According to Dymski, “The Air Force didn’t immediately respond to questions early Friday about whether any such activity could explain the video . . .”
