Could a UFO encounter change the way someone creates music? Guitarist and experiencer Kevin Estrella joins Martin Willis to explore his reported encounters, telepathic experiences, and the mysterious inspiration behind his instrumental rock project, Pyramids on Mars. Kevin traces a turning point to August 21, 2014, when he says he encountered a craft he believed was of otherworldly origin. He describes subsequent experiences involving vivid dreams, symbols, synchronicities, and “musical downloads,” melodies and ideas he attributes to nonhuman intelligence. His album Cosmic Angels draws inspiration from these reported visitations, blending hard rock and metal with influences from Bach and Vivaldi. Kevin also explores connections he sees between music, telepathic storytelling, and the tonal communication of whales.
