BIO: Jay Hammen is a school psychologist with a lifelong interest in UFOs, consciousness, and anomalous phenomena. Drawing on psychology, philosophy, and decades of interest in ufology, he has developed a conceptual framework he calls the Convergence Theory of the Consciousness Field, which explores the possibility that many paranormal and UFO experiences may represent different interpretations of interactions with a shared informational field of consciousness. Jay approaches the subject from a psychological and cross-cultural perspective, examining how altered states of consciousness, creativity, mystical experiences, and anomalous encounters might intersect. His work synthesizes ideas from researchers such as Jacques Vallée, Carl Jung, John Mack, Diana Pasulka, and Terence McKenna. Outside of his professional work in psychology, Jay is also a musician and songwriter. Martin Willis, Host Podcast UFO Est. 2011
