BIO: George Simpson is an Australian UFO researcher with more than three decades of experience in organized investigation and public outreach. He began in the late 1980s with the Victorian UFO Research Society (VUFORS), later serving on its committee through the early 2000s.

In 2000, he became Victorian Director of the Australian UFO Research Network (AUFORN), organizing quarterly public meetings and hosting international figures such as disclosure advocate Steve Bassett.

Simpson is the author of Nothing on Radar – The Valentich Mystery, an in-depth study of the 1978 disappearance of pilot Frederick Valentich over Bass Strait. Drawing on radio transcripts, radar data, and witness testimony, the book examines one of Australia’s most enduring aviation and UFO cases.

Throughout his career, Simpson has emphasized careful case documentation, historical research, and fostering informed public discussion of unexplained aerial phenomena in Australia.
