Frank C. Feschino, Jr. Bio

Frank C. Feschino, Jr. is a graduate of the Paier College of Art in Hamden, Connecticut, where he studied illustration, commercial art, and photography. He was trained by several world-famous artists including Kenneth Davies, Rudolph Zallinger, and John Massimino. He earned his four-year Fine Arts diploma in 1981. Feschino later moved to Florida where he studied film and video production at Phillips Jr. College in Daytona Beach. He was trained by Hollywood steady-cam operator Rich Davis. In 1994, Frank graduated with an Associates Degree in Film and Video Production with a minor in Business.

Feschino would come to be interested in UFOs in the early 1990s when he visited a relative’s farm in Braxton County, West Virginia. Crop circles had appeared overnight, and UFOs were frequently sighted over the region and for many years. He very carefully and meticulously documented these anomalies and then shared his research with British crop circle expert, electrical engineer Mr. Colin Andrews who catalogued Frank’s information in his world crop circle database.

During that time, Frank C. Feschino, Jr. became aware of the famous “Flatwoods Monster” UFO crash incident of Braxton County that had occurred on September 12, 1952. This case involved a downed UFO and its alien occupant, a 12-foot-tall armor-clad being, we come to find, who encountered a group of unsuspecting local Flatwoods townspeople. This terrifying “close encounter of the third kind” quickly made headlines across the globe, was talked about, effusively, on the radio, and was featured one week later on a nationally broadcasted live TV program, “We The People.” Yet, although history had heavily documented this incident in the media and press there was a downside to the story; it was convoluted, inaccurate, covered-up by the government and the case was written off as a folklore story.

Intrigued with the incident, Feschino began researching the Flatwoods case and began traveling to West Virginia more often. During his time in film school, he continued to travel to West Virginia but was now armed with camera equipment to further document the case. Frank began interviewing witnesses and videotaped countless hours of cutaway shots of the area and stored his information away. He continued his research and dedicated several more years of his life investigating the incident, far beyond what had ever been done before. Eventually, Frank pieced the story together and figured out what had actually occurred in Flatwoods on that dreadful night, which disproved and shattered the folklore tale accepted by many!

Feschino then wrote a groundbreaking book, a completed essay map of his investigation into the famous “Flatwoods Monster” incident.  It is titled, The Braxton County Monster—The Cover-up of the Flatwoods Monster Revealed, later released as an “Updated and Revised” edition while his investigation is continued and additional information is obtained. The forwards and epilogs for Frank’s books were written by nuclear physicist, UFO expert, and author Stanton T. Friedman of Roswell fame. Additionally, writer and veteran Master Aviator Alfred Lehmberg, United States Army officer (retired,) wrote Feschino’s latest book cover synopsis covering this astonishing incident and also appeared with him on an episode of Monster Quest about the Flatwoods case. Feschino also produced a documentary that he wrote, shot and narrated. It focuses on his decades-long investigation into the “Flatwoods Monster” case expanding into an undeclared and largely secret air war with extraterrestrials and appears on youtube.

Alfred Lehmberg Bio:

…Formative years seethed with the movements and the passions of turbulent sixties on a chaotic west coast. Aliens and UFOs are the least of what was going on. I questioned, as many did, the price of ceremony’s horn of plenty. I crossed my arms at the guile implied by custom’s laurel tree…

…The innocence of those sixties, then, was lost to me at last even as it is to be replaced by something else. Still, the Woodstock movement seemed to have failed, or it failed me … perhaps I even failed it, but I foolishly did what all young romantics foolishly do in the face of a perceived betrayal; I joined the *Legion*, and went off to fight in a foreign war.

Enlisting and qualifying for Army flight training at the height of the “Viet Namese” iteration of the never-ending war, I flew a thousand hours in combat and marked time to uneasy infinity. Later on I picked up the hard jobs, the ones no one else wanted — finding satisfactions in them. Race/human relations, Cadet Officer Training, and counseling were major occupations in addition to expert flight duties. Ironically, on many levels, Human Relations were the focus of my twenty-three-year military career. I married and sired a child. I remain married.

I refused my last promotion to settle where I’d washed up after decades of tedious world travel. In the interim, I’d earned a special education teaching credential and attempted a necessary, unquestionably honorable and useful 2nd occupation. It was not to be. Divergent politics, age discrimination, and UFOs ended that stillborn exercise before I got started when I was fired for using Ufology as an interest vehicle for the students.

Now? My long term goal is a continuing exploration of the space, time, and surface area provided me, not limited to word, paint, music, or evolving technologies accelerating to the speed of light. Folks are welcome on the ride. Closing, I’m a person attentive to UFOs and their ancillaries because inattention seems unintelligent, unprogressive, and unbrave.”

It’s September 12th, 1952, and you’re a flight officer in the nascent Air Forces of the United States. You’ve been assigned to an airbase on the azure, green, and frothy white coast of panhandle Florida. You are trained and educated to be part of the pool from which would later be drawn, moon-walking astronauts. You’re not arrogant, only appropriately confident; see, with few contenders of this Earth? You and your brothers would compete to rule Earth’s skies.

Ahead: Farnsworth recoils in horror and makes a heartfelt plea, Outrage and Incredulity, Numerical justifications and red flags, …and your air alert gets called.
