A seven-time best-selling author, his first book, co-authored with Dr. Kevin D. Randle was made into the Golden Globe nominated best TV movie ROSWELL. His book Witness to Roswell co-authored with Thomas J. Carey was the number 1 selling UFO book in the world for 2007-8. That book has been optioned by Bryce Zabel for the feature film CRASH. Schmitt is also an associate producer on the forthcoming feature film “701.” Schmitt has lectured all over the world including Russia, China, Japan, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Europe, the UK, and South America.
