Last night, (09-21-23) we had a wonderful tribute to a special friend, Lee Speigel, please check out that video HERE!
Help send Lee’s ashes into space and help send to and preserve Lee’s 6-decade UFO archives at The National UFO Historical Records Center in New Mexico: https://www.gofundme.com/f/lee-speigel Original music, written and sung by Lee Speigel, Micah Hanks’ tribute clip did not make the live tribute to Lee last night, so it is part of this video. Also, veteran researcher, Jacques Vallee chimes in from Paris on what Lee meant to him, and the world of UFOs. (Jacques’ clip was included in last night’s live tribute.)
Irena, Philip & Martin pay tribute to friend, Calvin Parker (1954-2023) of the 1973 Pascagoula Abduction Incident. We also discuss a recent book with over 40 other witnesses to the even, “Beyond a Reasonable Doubt”, with a forward by Calvin. For those new to the UFO topic, you can skip to 0:18:50 to hear a nutshell description of the event, or our blog by Charles Lear, who covers it well HERE. The book recently releases is: BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT: The Pascagoula Alien Abduction
Recently, on August 24, Calvin Parker passed on at the age of 68. In 1973, he, along with Charles Hickson, reported being abducted by strange creatures in Pascagoula, Mississippi. Afterwards, he spent decades hiding from public attention, moving repeatedly, and changing his name. As the 50th anniversary of the incident was approaching, with the encouragement of his wife, Waynett, Calvin began to publicly acknowledge who he was and what he reportedly experienced. He spent the last decade of his life making friends among the UFO community while speaking about his experience on podcasts, radio shows, and conventions after writing a book, Pascagoula – The Closest Encounter: My Story, that was published in 2018. Martin and Podcast UFO played a large part in Calvin’s re-entry into the public arena and also provided a vehicle for a happy reunion with an estranged family member. Read more →

Guest, Jay Christopher King was also at the DC UAP Hearing, we discuss opinions on that, The Experiencer Group, which he co-founded to help fellow experiencers of anomalous phenomena, his own experiences starting at a young age, and more.
I feel lucky enough to be the second interviewer of former Marine, Jonathan Weygandt who had an amazing encounter, with bad aftermath while involved in Project Laser Strike in Peru in 1997. Check out the interview HERE.
Portions of Jonathan’s 2001 edited interview can be seen HERE.
Jonathan with his father at Graduation
Jonathan went into the Marines in 1995, and after Boot Camp in South Caroline, he was deployed in Texas, and in early 1997, Peru.
Jonathan was vetted by journalist Leslie Kean in 2000, after he was connected to Dr. Steven Greer, who made a choice to feature an interview with him for the 2001 Disclosure Project. James Fox was involved in the interview and recently commented to me that out of all the interviews for that project, Jonathan was the most outstanding, and “believes him 110%”
Operation Laser Strike was a operating 19 Latin American countries to counter ongoing drug smuggling. It was active in Peru, from September 1996 through June 1997 US Marines supported the counter-drug operations of US Southern Command (CINCSOUTH) with a ground mobile radar and communications team.
Purportedly, while on guard duty patrol, Jonathan spoke to two women from the ground based radar station one day that claimed they were catching objects flying in and out of the atmosphere at over mach 10, several thousand miles per hour.
New Information Since the First Interview
I learned a few things while getting to know Jonathan over these last few months, prior to interviewing him. First of all, he is a no-nonsense type of person. He is highly intelligent, well read and articulate. The most important thing I learned is, he wants nothing to do with those involved in UFOlogy, nothing to do with the press of any type and it was very uncomfortable for him to recount what happened in 1997. He told me ahead of time that he had nothing to add to the first interview, and he was right. I did ask him some details, and he shared a few of them. One; it was the very first mission of heading out on a mission to check on a crashed craft, possibly friendly airplane. Two; there was a being’s arm hanging out of a cockpit? door. Three; the one positive thing he got out of it is, “I am still alive”. There was a time when he did not think he was going to live.
What I referring to is, a troop of men in back camouflage who aggressively took over the situation, shackled him and flew him out of there. He was interrogated for many hours, threatened to never speak about it and shipped back to the US. Things only went downhill from there.
You can read more details about the encounter HERE.

Jay Christopher King is a community manager, researcher, artist and life coach, who co-founded The Experiencer Group with Stuart Davis and Kirsten Blackburn in 2021. After showing art through graduate school, he began working in television as a writer/producer, primarily for the Discovery Channel and its properties. During the pandemic, Jay became heavily involved in hosting a network of confidential support groups for fellow experiencers of anomalous phenomena. He realized experiencers needed to have a private community to share, learn, and grow. That led to the creation of The Experiencer Group, where King now serves as Director. The Experiencer Group is now in its third year, with many online and in-person events including book clubs, support meetings, AMAs with guests, topical meetups and a custom-built private social media site just for fellow experiencers. Jay also does online one-on-one consulting and coaching work so that experiencers and those interested in the anomalous can thrive in day-to-day life while processing and integrating their more personal experiences.
In 2022, he began organizing conference events in New York City with James Iandoli under the name Inquire Anomalous. Jay’s solo and collaborative artwork has been shown at venues including the Museo de Arte Reina Sofia (Madrid), James Cohan Gallery (NYC), and MoMA PS1 (NYC). He holds a Fine Art BFA from SVA, and an MFA in Film from Bard College.
On March 30, and 31, 1993, reports of a UFO over Southern England came in to the Ministry of Defense. Nick Pope was manning the “UFO desk” at the time, and he described that “the phones were ringing off the hook.” He posted a description of the most dramatic reports on February 20, 2007, on the Physics Forum website. He appeared in a 2009 7 News Spotlight (an Australian program) segment presented by Russ Coulthart and described himself as “broadly skeptical” and his investigation of this series of reports as “the turning point.” Pope described the case in his 1996 book, “Open Skies, Closed Minds,” which helped to make it a classic, but Jenny Randles of the British UFO Research Association suspected that some of the sightings were of a satellite rocket booster from Cosmos 2235 (sent up by the Commonwealth of Independent States) re-entering the atmosphere. One report from RAF Shawbury that was described by Pope was later reconsidered by the witness as also having a prosaic explanation. Because the file (Part 1, Part 2) on the case was released to the public by the MoD, the details of the case can be examined by anyone with an interest.
This is an exclusive discussion and only the second interview of former Marine, Lance Corporal Jonathan Weygandt. After gaining Jonathan’s confidence, I asked him if I could talk about the incident as it was timely, he agreed, but said he had nothing to add from his first interview. I did not realize how difficult it was going to be for him to discuss this until we started. The most important reason Jonathan retold this story is, Americans should know that this happened and it is covered up.
Jonathan was deployed to Peru and part of “Operation Laser Strike” in 1997, while on a recovery mission of what was thought of as a friendly aircraft crash, they came upon an unusual teardrop shaped craft, not of this world, wedged in rocks, apparently damaged by a H.A.W.K. missile, and there were some beings involved. Armed men in black camouflage (with no insignia) showed up and aggressively took over the scene. He was shackled, taken away told not to speak about what he witnessed. He persisted talking about it to fellow servicemen and paid the consequences for that. (October, 2000 audio clip excerpt added on craft description, full video in show notes. 2001 Disclosure Project credit)
A Special Thanks to Jay Hall, Rowland at RGH-UFOs did a lot of research that article is linked in the text above and in the show notes.. Thanks to Cody in Peru, and Donny for trying to narrow down the location of the incident, The original video interview for the 2001 Disclosure Project is linked and that has great details in it. Thanks so Juan and Evan for the artwork!
Jonathan went into the Marines in 1995, and in early 1997 he was deployed to Peru in patrol at Operation Laser Strike, which was a drug running intercept program. In March he and his platoon was called out to a crash recovery, possible friendly aircraft. 5-6 Humvees went out for about three hours, then through the jungle on foot. He was up front, called point with two others, and when they came upon the crash site, it was burned through the jungle, like cutting butter with a knife. They followed the path of the crash and came upon a teardrop, or egg shape craft, embedded in a cliff face with just the rear sticking out. Jonathan dropped his gear and climbed up to it. There was fluid leaking out everywhere, that was changing colors, and the craft was changing colors as well. Some of the fluid got on him and ruined the material of his camouflage, and he lost hair on his arm where it was on him.
He noticed damage to the craft that may have been from a Hawk missile there was a humming noise and a recessed hole, perhaps a cockpit door. There was an arm hanging out, and he felt as though there were at least two beings, and perhaps they were communicating with him.
He had a hard time talking at all about the rest, but basically men showed up in black camouflage, took over the situation, arrested him, flew him out of there, interrogated him and threatened him for hours, days. His life was made miserable because he decided to speak about the incident with fellow serviceman.
This is the third part in a series looking at two separate encounters in Winchester, England, with UFOs and humanoids reported by two friends, 42-year-old Joyce Bowles and 58-year-old Ted Pratt. They reported that as Bowles was driving with Pratt in the passenger seat prior to their first encounter, Bowles’s Cooper Mini Clubman travelled diagonally as if it was floating after the steering wheel locked, and the car came to a rest on a strip of grass (known as a “verge” in England) next to the road. They said they then saw a craft hovering 18 inches above the ground with 3 humanoids behind a window or windows sitting lined up as if they were on a bus. A creature left the craft, possibly by walking through it, came up to the car, and seemed to have put its hand on the roof as it looked in Bowles’s window. It was said to have been wearing what looked like a silver “boiler suit” and to have had long hair that curled up in the back, sideburns that came down to a pointed beard, and brilliant red eyes with no pupils or irises. They said that during their second encounter, they found themselves standing next to Bowles’s car inside what they assumed was a spaceship. The creatures spoke with them, said they weren’t there to invade and that they’d be back. Their case got the interest of researchers from various organizations and there is one article examining it in the March/April 1977 BUFORA Journal and FOUR articles in the February 1977, Vol. 22, No. 5 Flying Saucer Review. In the course of the investigation, it came out that there were after-effects and that Bowles had a history of reported paranormal experiences and well as healing and psychic abilities. One of the researchers, Lionel Beer, reported in his article in the BUFORA Journal that Bowles’s history made him dubious, but he and the others didn’t discount her claims, possibly due to the influence the ideas of John Keel and Jacques Vallée were having on researchers at the time. Leslie Harris makes a reference to Vallée’s 1969 book “Passport to Magonia” in his article covering the case in Flying Saucer Review. Read more →
On location in Cincinnati at the 2023 MUFON Symposium where I speak with Brazilian UFOlogist, Thiago Luiz Ticchetti about his sighting at an early age and his passion for UFO research, we talk about the Varginha UFO Incident and many more. MIKE MASTERS on the second part of the show discusses his theories and arguments on why he believes the pilots of crafts, so often mentioned fit the bill of time travelers of this planet.
